The February 2011 earthquake shook a love of writing back to the surface of Sue’s life: a case of literary fiction as opposed to liquefaction.
Sue has enjoyed meeting fellow writers at SIWA and her writing has developed since she joined a SIWA critique group. She has attended several writing courses and crafting stories for the monthly competitions has proved to be a great way for her to try her hand at writing different genres. She has produced some poetry and a play for children, but mainly concentrates on writing short stories.
Sue is mum to two lovely children and she is married to Simon, who would love her to hurry up and write a bestseller so he can retire. They live in Beckenham and have the craziest tree-house in the district.
